Versatile motorcycle protection doesn’t have to look boring, with the new Arch graphics for the 2021 LS2 FF902 Scope Flip-Front Helmet available now. You can choose from a combination of white and titanium, or the matt, titanium and pink options to stand out whether you’re riding, or stopping to fuel up. And the designs look pretty good for a reasonably priced motorcycle helmet.

The Scope is a fairly new release from LS2, and it’s available in solid colour designs for £119.99, while the more complex grapics are £129.99. So you might not expect a long list of features. But the high pressure thermoplastic shell is provided in three sizes for comfort and aerodynamics, and helps to keep the weight down to 1650 grams.

You get a chin curtain to keep the wind and weather out, along with adjustable vents at the front and rear. The visor is a quick release model with a wide aperture to help with your peripheral vision, and it comes with a Pinlock anti-fog shield to avoid misting up. Plus there’s also a drop-down sun visor inside to stop you having to find sunglasses, or risk getting in trouble by using a tinted visor on the road.
The inner pads are all laser cut and have internal channels for air to circulate through the Scope, and there’s a quick release micrometric buckle fastening. And while I’ve always prefered D-rings, a seatbelt-style option makes more sense if you’re commuting, or using the FF902 for urban riding and need to take it off and put it on again regularly.
As you’d probably expect these days, the lining is hypoallergenic, removable and washable. And the Scope is ECE2205 approved for road use.
And that’s about it. The LS2 Scope helmet is available in sizes XS-2XL, in white, matt titanium, matt black or black solid colours, and the Skid, Axis and two Arch graphic designs, and it’ll cost you £119.99 or £129.99 depending on which you choose.
It’s not quite as eyecatching as the current LS2 Valiant II designs, but you’ll be spending a bit more to move up the LS2 range
You can order LS2 helmets online from GhostBikes (or RevZilla in the U.S), including some good discounts and deals. If you’re looking for a new motorcycle helmet, why not check out our other Helmet news and articles, or our previous coverage of the LS2 range?
