Yamaha has invested heavily in both the Sports Heritage range of bikes, and the Yamaha Yard Built custom build series. And it’s paid dividends so far in terms of awareness and sales. So it makes sense to extend that to Faster Sons Clothing from Yamaha and RSD (Roland Sands Design).
The Faster Sons range includes everything from shirts and wallets to gloves and jackets. The T-shirts, hoodies etc all feature original designs with the Faster Sons motif.
Roland Sands Design has been producing a range of clothing for quite a while now. So rather than create new kit from scratch, some Yamaha touches have been added to the existing jackets. For instance, the waxed cowhide Ronin jacket will now feature the Yamaha speed blocks when it’s part of Faster Sons.
Also getting the Yamaha treatment is the Tracker wax cotton jacket.
The Peristyle Gloves are inspired by classic Motocross, and now have Yamaha speed block knit stretch cuffs and some yellow detailing. And the range also includes the Maverick shirt, which is a plaid design with a zip up the front – none of those pesky buttons to try and fiddle with when you’re wearing gloves…

When it comes to money, there’s a leather Riverside wallet. And there’s no prices confirmed yet, but the existing RSD range has the Ronin around £500, the Tracker around £300, and the Peristyle gloves and Maverick shirt come in at around £60. So expect the Faster Sons range to be somewhere similar, give or take a slight markup for Yamaha’s share, and also depending on how many dollars you can get to the pound at the moment.
And while you can order Roland Sands Design clothing through a range of UK dealers, it should be relatively easy to pick up the Faster Sons gear through official Yamaha channels while you’re also busy grabbing new handlebars, rearsets and all your other custom goodies.
