From a company you might associate more with helmets, the new LS2 Narvik Jacket is a cost-effective textile option for motorcycling in all conditions. Whether you’re touring or commuting, having something versatile with decent storage and adjustability always makes life a little easier.
The outershell is made from 600D and 450D fabric with Ripstop reinforcement in key areas. It’s AA certified and comes with CE Level 1 shoulder and elbow protectors, but you can also first the additional LS2 CE chest and back protection for extra peace of mind.
If you’re riding in summer, then there’s large front ventilation pannels, double rear vents, and a two-way zip for the sleeves. But when it’s cold and wet, there’s a removable thermal liner, plus the fixed waterproof and breathable membrane.
If you want to adjust the jacket for a decent fit, there are straps at the arms, waist and collar, plus the elbow armour can be moved across two positions. And you also get YKK zips and a neoprene collar with comfort trim to avoid uncomfortable rubbing.
There are two large waterproof front pockets with another at the rear, plus an internal pocket. And the design looks nice enough for an affordable textile motorcycle jacket. It’s available in the grey design with blue, black and red sections, or plain black with grey and flourescent yellow highlights.
The new LS2 Narvik jacket is available in XS-5XL for men, and the black option is also available in XS-5XL for women. It costs £179.99.
You can order LS2 motorcycle helmets and clothing online from GhostBikes (or RevZilla in the U.S). And check out all of the motorcycle jackets we’ve featured, whether you’re looking for something in textile or leather. Including everything else from the LS2 range.
