The New Ducati MX Experience Days Start In The UK In July 2025

With the all-new Ducati Desmo450 MX arriving in dealers in June as the first motocross bike from the Italian manufacturer, there are plenty of people who might want to try it out or improve their skills for the single cylinder 450cc machine. So it’s handy that the new Ducati MX Experience Days start in the UK in July 2025.

Run by former British and international MX racer and ACO-qualified instructor Barry Johnson and team, the days will be held at four locations across the UK. The venues will be Golding Barn in West Sussex, Hobs Hole MX in the Midlands, Pond Lane MX in Hampshire and Fatcat Motopark in Doncaster. And you’ll get to ride the new Desmo450 MX with instruction tailored to your ability, from novice to expert.

While you don’t need a road motorcycle licence to attend, you do need to be 17 or over, and have some prior riding experience to be able to handle a bike on varied terrain.

A day at the Ducati MX Experience costs £220, which is pretty reasonable. Especially if you’re debating buying a new Ducati Desmo450 MX for £11,245.
