There’s a fresh version of the popular 22-litre pack for motorcycles, as the new Ventura EVO-22 Jet-Stream III bike luggage gets updates from the previous models.
The new features include a seam-sealed waterproof liner to keep your stuff drier than ever when you’re riding in bad weather, and a MOLLE/PAL system on the lid so you can easily add any accessories or additional storage you might fancy.
But Ventura haven’t messed too much with the Jet-Stream. It’s still constructed from ballistic fabric to last whether you’re commuting or touring, and has an aerodymaic design so it won’t feel like you’ve got a shed strapped to the back of your bike.
There are internal pockets so you can keep everything organised, and it should be easy to access with glove-friendly zip pulls and quick-release buckles, so you won’t upset customs and immigration checks by making them wait while you fumble for everything. And there are a couple of integrated carry handles to help you fit, remove and carry the bag from your motorcycle to your office or hotel.
The EVO-22 Jet-Stream III works with the Ventura EVO Rack System which allows you to slide it on and off, clipping it into place without needing straps and cords to tie it down. As well as fitting and removing it in seconds, you can also quickly reposition the pack if you’re riding solo, when it can sit closer to your back, or behind a pillion passenger. And when it’s not fitted, you just have the two discrete L-Brackets fitted, which can then have an optional Grab Handle put in place instead.
If you want more or less storage, the Jet-Stream range comes in 12, 22, 40 or 60 litres. And the Ventura EVO 22 Jet Stream III costs £208.95. The L brackets are included in the price, but you’ll also need a Rack for £96.95.
