With the original model launched back in 2022, and a carbon version the following year, it’s about time for an update with the new flip-front LS2 Advant II helmet for 2025.
The shell still uses the same Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA) that LS2 use on most of their helmets, but it now gets some 6K Carbon components, which means it’s all a bit stronger but without being any heavier, coming in at around 1750g. You also get a new advanced visor-locking system to make sure everything stays in position when riding, but you can also quickly and easily remove the visor and integrated flip-down sun visor for cleaning or changing.
A secure lock is useful as the Advant II is ECE 22.06 certified and P/J dual homologated, so you can use it open or closed. And for riding in colder weather, it comes as standard with a Pinlock 120 MaxVision anti-fog insert.
Other familiar features from modern helmets and the LS2 range include the premium Coolmax liner, carbon chin and top vents, plus an exhaust post at the rear. And you also get Emergency Release System cheek pads, which hopefully won’t be needed. But it’s nice to know you have them in the event of an accident. The Advant II is also ready to accept the LS2 Bluetooth by Cardo 4X Intercom system.
What’s really nice is that the LS2 Advant II comes in four solid colours priced at £249.99 and five graphic options for £269.99, which is about the same as the original. Sizing is XS-3XL.
You can order LS2 helmets online from GhostBikes (or RevZilla in the U.S), including some good discounts and deals. If you’re looking for a new motorcycle helmet, why not check out our other Helmet news and articles, or our previous coverage of the LS2 range?
