The new NEXX Y.100R URBANGRAM helmet might have a typically odd name, but offers some eye-catching designs and decent features for just under £200.
It has a thermoplastic shell made with what NEXX call Polyfusion, so it’s fairly lightweight but still strong, and features a double-blade air spoiler on the back to keep wind noise and turbulence down, and also helping with stability and neck pressure. And you can’t miss the the three graphics options, with Indigo Blue MT, Nardo Grey MT and Neon Black MT.
There’s a wide aperture visor, with the X-Swift Quick Release System so you can swap an included iridium or tinted visor (depending on the design you choose) for Instagram or TikTok photos and videos, although there’s also a drop-down internal sun visor to stay road legal in bright sunlight, and it’s also ready for the included Pinlock 70 anti-fog insert if you’re having problems with moisture.
You also get extra-large vent ports on the chin and crown, along with the rear exhaust openings and a fresh air chamber in the dual EPS liner, the lining and neck roll are hypoallergenic and antibacterial. And the X-Mart Dry fabric is also removable and washable.
It uses a micro-metric buckle for fastening, and you also get a removable Go-Pro Mount to video your riding if you’re into recording yourself. Plus it’s ready to accept the NEXX X-COM3 intercom systems (including the new PRO model) if you like Bluetooth connectivity.
So along with the new NEXX Y.100R URBANGRAM Helmet, you get a spare tint or iridium visor, a wind deflector, the removable Go-Pro Mount, and a Pinlock 70 visor insert for £199.99, with sizes XS-XXL available.
