Having been available for a while as a textile motorcycle jacket, with mesh airflow panels for summer riding, the Weise Scout jacket is now available in Camo.
Camo motorcycle kit always reminds of me trips out with the Suzuki Bandit owners club, (and the SV and Bandit Owners Club) in the early 2000s. Along with a wide selection of anodised bar ends and bolt kits in an assortment of colours, Renthal bars and carbon-look bellypans, during a brief, but happy, time with a 2005 GSF650. It’s good to know the Bandit Owners Club is still going, even if the Bandit name has faded away with the current GSX range.
Back to the present, and the Weise Scout jacket has been available since 2021 in Black, Stone or Olive, with the latter being the one I’d personally choose. But each to their own.
Aside from the new design, the jacket itself is identical to the other versions. It’s AA-rated with CE-approved Level 2 shoulder and elbow armour, and a Level 1 back protector. Made from 600 Denier fabric, you get large mesh airflow panels to keep you cool, along with stretch panels for movement and comfort, adjusters at the waist, sleeves and cuffs, and a connection zip for Scout Mesh Jeans (available in Black).
You also get two zipped external hand warmer pockets, plus two more internal pockets, and there’s reflective piping to help visibility.
The Weise Scout Jacket is available in Black, Stone, Olive or the new Camo option for £139.99 in sizes S-5XL. You can find it at your local Weise stockist, which actually includes Halfords. And if it’s not the right choice for you, why not check out all our coverage of motorcycle jackets, including the Weise range.
