The VFR1200X dual sport adventure-touring bike was last updated in 2016. So the new Skidmarx Honda Crosstourer Tall and Wide screen makes sense if you’re finding the factory option isn’t quite right for your riding. Normally more of a problem for bigger, taller motorcyclists, but even shorter riders can find the screen height causes helmet buffeting in the wind, which can be really annoying.
Wind and rain can be a tiring hassle, especially when you’re putting long hours in the saddle on your motorcycling adventures. So the Skidmarx screen for the Honda VFR1200X Crosstourer is made from 4mm cast acrylic to stay strong at high speeds, and measures 62cm high by 38cm wide. Which means it’s around 33% bigger than the original version.
The other bit of good news is that the Skidmarx screen fits directly onto existing mounting points, and uses the original fasteners. So it’s literally a case of swapping the old original screen for your new one.

The screen fits Honda VXFR1200X Crosstourer models from 2016-2021, and costs £79.95. So it’s also a cost-effective option if you need a replacement after years of scratches and abuse. And as it’s available in clear, light or dark tints, you can also change the look of your bike pretty quickly and easily.

A rear hugger is also available for all Crosstourers since 2012, starting from £99.95 for the black GRP version, but you can also get lighter or strong forced carbon fibre if you prefer.
You can order the screen and huggers from the Skidmarx website. Or you can see all of our latest news on Honda motorcycles and related products, here. And if you need a bike to go with your new scree, why not check the secondhand Honda VFR1200X Crosstourers currently for sale via eBay?
