Road riding options tend to be too warm for off-road trails, and motocross gloves aren’t designed for use on tarmac. So you need something in between, and these are an affordable option for just £40.99.
The All Terrain Gloves have a goat skin construction, which is double layered at the palm and other key areas. Which offers protection without being too firm and rigid. And you also get Level 1-certified TPU protection over the knuckles, along with padding over the base of your hand and the scaphoid area. This means you have useful and reassuring safety features suitable for touring, or riding to trails.
But if you’re riding more slowly on rough roads and trails, you’ll appreciate the textile, neoprene and Lycra used in the outer shell of the gloves to offer flexibility and breathability, along with perforations in the goat skin sections. Sweaty hands aren’t pleasant, and don’t help you to stay focused on riding.
Off-road riding requires easy movement and precise control, so there are also stretch panels at the joints of each finger, along with Lycra between.
