If you’re looking for a classic motorcycle jacket, then it might be worth checking out the new Duchinni Strike leather jacket. Like most modern biking kit, it combines traditional styling with modern functionality and safety features, at a reasonable price.
The Duchinni Strike jacket is made from 1.2-1.4mm cowhide leather, with perforated chest panels for warm weather, and a removable 120-gram thermal quilted vest to use when things get colder. And you also get bronze YKK zippers and popper fastenings to keep everything secure with a timeless look.
But while you might want the look of a vintage motorcycle jacket, most of us prefer it to come with modern safety features. And the Strike delivers that with CE-approved armour at the shoulders and elbows, plus space for an optional CE Level 1 elasto-foam back protector, which is an additional £17.99.
You also get contemporary neoprene trim for the collar to stop it rubbing your neck, an adjustable belt system at the waist to accomodate different body shapes, and a selection of two pockets on the inside and three zipped outer pockets. There’s also a short connection zip to attach the jacket to Ducinni motorcycle trousers.
You can choose the jacket is either classic Black or Brown, and it’s available in chest sizes 40″-50″.
The jacket costs £229.99, plus an extra £17.99 if you fancy the back protector as well. The options for trousers are all textile, but the brand does also offer some casual retro motorcycle boots which would match well with the Strike.
