There’s a new design honouring I’m a Celebrity winner and four-time World Superbike champion Carl Fogarty, with the new LS2 FF800 Storm Foggy helmet. And at £129.99 it’s cheaper than most helmets licensed by famous racers.

The mid-to-late 90s was a time of enormous popularity for World Superbikes and Foggy mania, with his championship wins in 1994, 1995, 1998 and 1999. So any of us with memories of that time will immediately recognise the distinctive Foggy eyes logo on the top of the LS2 Storm.

Those WSB titles are alongside Grand Prix rides, wins at the Isle of Man TT, Ulster Grand Prix and North West 200, and an Endurance World Championship in 1992 after victories including the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Bol d’Or. Foggy retired in 2000 due to injuries sustained in a crash at Phillip Island.

Aside from the licensed design by the LS2 Brand Ambassador, you’re getting a standard LS2 Storm helmet made with their Kinetic Polymer Alloy outer shell with mixes polycarbonate and thermoplastics for safety with a light weight.
It also has the standard ventilation with adjustment at the chin and crown, a quick-release visor with Pinlock anti-fog shield and an internal drop-down sun visor. Plus the usual removable and washable hypoallergenic lining.
The LS2 FF800 Storm Foggy Helmet costs £129.99 in sizes XS-XXXL, which is the same as all other designs available, with plain colours saving you £10.
You can order LS2 helmets online from GhostBikes (or RevZilla in the U.S), including some good discounts and deals. Whether you’re looking for road or off-road helmets, why not check out our other Helmet news and articles, or our previous coverage of the LS2 range?
