The new Weise Summit jacket arrives for 2021 to offer a versatile modular design and three layers for all-year riding. So it should cope with all the weather that the seasons can throw at you.
The outer shell is a tough mix of Cordura, SuperFabric and Nylon which helps the jacket be AA-rated for protection to EN 17092 standard, along with CE-approved shoulder, elbow and back armour.
Underneath is a removable waterproof, windproof and breathable liner to keep water out, and allow sweat to still escape. So you won’t end up cold and damp.
And the third layer is a softshell inner jacket with a micro-fleece lining which can be removaed when the weather gets warmer. Or used separately as a normal jacket for walking around.
Along with multiple layers and armour, the Summit also has large Fidlock secured vents on the chest, and more vents on the arms and back. The cuffs have long, two-way zipped venting. And all of the air intakes comes with waterproof zips to keep any rain out.
Along with all of the weather features, the jacket also has 3M reflective shoulder, arm and rear stripes to help you stay visible. And for your comfort there are stretch panels at the elbows and shoulders, a Neoprene trimmed storm collar, an adjustable waist belt, four sleeve adjusters, and a short connection zip for compatible motorcycle trousers.
For carrying everything there are plenty of inner and outer pockets, plus a couple for warming your hands, and a large rear map pocket.
The Weise Summit is available in either Black or Stone in sizes S-5XL and will cost £299.99 including VAT and a 2-year warranty.
