It’s never been more important to have things to look forward to than at the start of 2021. So there’s some good news as 2021 Ducati SuperSport 950 production begins in the Borgo Panigale factory, with bikes arriving at dealers in February.

The new 2021 Ducati SuperSport 950 and Supersport 950 S were announced in November 2020 as updates to the model revived back in 2016. The big visual change is a new design which is more closely related to the Ducati Panigale V4 with a full LED headlight and sportier fairing.

As the entry-level Ducati sports bike, the Euro 5 twin-cylinder Testastretta engine puts out 110hp and 93 Nm or torque at 6,500rpm with a fluid delivery which can also be supplied as a restricted A2 licence version. And if you’re a new rider or commuting, the updates have also increased comfort with new padding and a flatter shape for the seat, and a more ergonomic riding position.

But it’s still a trellis frame Italian sports bike with a dry weight of 184kg. So the Ducati Supersport 950 and S models get an eletronics package including ABS cornering, traction control, wheelie control, electronic gearbox and three riding modes with the choice of Sport, Touring or Urban. And the standard 950 SuperSport also gets Quick Shift Up and Down, plus a new hydraulic clutch control.

To help you keep track of all the electronics and important information, the 2021 Ducati SuperSport 950 gets a new 4.3″ full-TFT display with a large round rev counter and an interface designed to let you focus on what’s important when you’re having fun.

As 2021 Ducati SuperSport 950 production begins for bikes to arrive in dealers shortly, the 2021 Ducati SuperSport 950 is available in Ducati Red and will cost from £12,295.
The 2021 Ducati SuperSport 950 S is available in a choice of Ducati Red or Arctic White Silk, and comes with full-adjustable Ohlins suspension, and a passenger seat cover, which means prices start from £13,895.
