If you’re planning on riding throughout the year, then you might find the new LS2 Commuter Rain Jacket and Jet Gloves useful for Winter trips and commuting. They’re both cost-effective ways to add some weather protection in your existing motorcycling wardrobe, or to have something on hand for occasional pillion passengers.
The LS2 Commuter Rain Jacket is a polyester over-jacket which is fully waterproof and breathable, and the front zip is also fully waterproof so rain shouldn’t find a way in.
It comes with a useful carry bag, and can easily be stashed under a seat, and costs £34.99 in high visibility yellow. One nice feature is that it’s available in sizes S-5XL for men, but also comes in a ladies version, in XS-5XL with a tailored fit which means it’ll be more comfortable and flap about less.
Also available for Winter 2020 are the Jet Gloves, which have a polyamide, polyester and polyurethane outershell, with a CE Level-1 KP certified knuckle guard. The weather is kept out by a waterproof and breathable Hipora membrane, while there’s a velvety liner inside.
The cuff is Spandex, and there’s also a hook and loop fasteneing, plus the index finger and thumb are touchscreen compatible, and there’s Silicone print on the palm.
The LS2 Jet Gloves are available in various colours in S-2XL for men, and XS-L for ladies, and cost £44.99.
