Modern all-weather motorcycle kit tends to be pretty good at keeping you dry and warm, but that comes at the cost of being bulky. The new Weise Montana 150 Winter gloves try and avoid that by using a 150-gram Thinsulate Supreme lining.
So instead of a liner that resembles a duvet stuffed into your gloves, the thin, flexible and silky Thinsulate should be comfortable and mean you can still get a good feeling for the handlebars. But you will still get warm hands and fingers in all weathers.

Another hassle of winter kit is when everything shifts around, so the Weise Montana 150 Winter gloves use the McFIT system which should keep the lining in the right place, without uncomfortable seams or stitching rubbing against you.
The gloves also have tough full grain leather on the palms, with Chamude overlays and silicon print to help you grip wet handlebars and levers. Stretch panels on the back of the hand and each finger mean you should still be nice and flexible.
In addition to the lining, the Weise Montana 150 gloves also have a visor wipe built into the lext index finger, and 3M Scotchlite piping for visibility in all weathers. And for protection, there’s TPU knuckle and finger armour, along with padding on the fingers, plus the leather is dual-layered in critical areas.
The Weise Montana 150 gloves are available in Black in sizes S-3XL, and cost £99.99. Stockists include Halfords, and you can find your local UK stockists on this map.
