Being top of the range is a relative thing. And in the case of the new Duchinni D1300 motorcycle helmet, that means still coming in at an affordable £159.99.

Arriving in 2020, the D1300 features an aerodynamic fibreglass outer shell, and a total weight of 1480 grammes. And the airflow inside gets channelled from the front vents to the rear exhausts through the lining.

You also get a removable and washable textile lining in the Duchinni D1300, and an anti scratch visor which can be released and re-fitted without needing any tools. Plus there’s a handy internal drop down sun visor.

You also get a breath deflector and chin curtain. The chin strap is fastened with an adjustable buckle.
So nothing revolutionary to impress people at a bike meet when you pull up. But a fairly reasonable set of features as a decent price which make it worth considering as your main helmet on a limited budget, or as a back-up for commuting or winter riding. Or as a choice for an occasional pillion.
The Duchinni D1300 motorcycle helmet is available in Black only in sizes XS-XL for £159.99. You can choose from a range of Duchinni stockists, which actually includes Halfords.
