If you intend to mix road and trails on a dual sports bike, the new Duchinni Sierra adventure sport motorcycle boots could provide the best of both worlds.
Full off-road MX boots are great on dirt, but having ridden 200+ miles of motorway in a pair, they’re not the best choice for comfort on a dual carriageway. But normal boots don’t really work if you’re up against mud and dirt. At which point the Duchinni Sierra could step in.

They’re constructed from full grain leather, reinforced at the shin, toe heel cup and gear shifter zone. The upper has been oiled to help it last longer and protect it, and you get a waterproof and breathable lining inside to stop wet feet from rain or riding through water.
Being able to move around easily is important when you’re trying to manage a motorcycle on a loose surface. So there are flex panels at the calf, shin and ankle, along with embossed and reinforced ankle panels to reduce the risk of scratching and damaging your bike in the process. Plus you get oil-resistant rubber non-slip soles to grip the footpegs, and MX-style fasteners to stop your boots flying off.

The Duchinni Sierra Adventure Sport Boots are certified to CE standard EN13634, come in sizes 7-12 (EU 40-47), and come in classic Brown. So the dirt and mud shouldn’t show up as much. And at £149.99 for a pair, they’re not so expensive you’ll be upset at punishing them off road. You should be able to find them at your local Duchinni stockist.
