New Premier Devil Sports Touring Helmet For 2020

New Premier Devil Sports Touring Helmet For 2020

June 5, 2020 By DanThornton Leave a Comment

The Premier Devil motorcycle helmet is new to the range available, and aims to be a good solution for riders covering long distances.

Which translates into an aerodynamic shell with some integrated air intakes and exhaust posts. And the top vent is probably the most unique part of the design with the prominent triangular inlet.

Those vents are built into a tri-composite fibre shell, with dyneema carbon aramidic fibres used to combine strength with a reasonable weight. There are two external shell sizes, with the smaller version weighting around 1.430g (+/- 50g), and the larger one at 1.490g (Again +/- 50g).

Inside the Premier Devil motorcycle helmet is a moisture-wicking, removable, washlable and odour free lining. As well as a padding system kit to customise the inside to the shape of your head, it’s also got special channels to help riders who wear glasses avoid discomfort.

The visor can be fitted and removed via a quick release system, and there’s a race-specification locking mechanism to keep it in place. More important is the fact that the visor aperture is 11% wider than previous models, which means better peripheral vision.

And to keep things visible there is an anit-fog insert, it’s Pinlock ready, and there’s also a flip-down sun visor located behind. Avoiding those awkward moments when you’re explaing you have a spare clear visor in your backpack, only to realise it’s still at home.

It’s Bluetooth ready, which is handy if you want to use a sat nav on your phone or be able to chat with pillions and other riders. And all Premier helmets come with a useful 5 year warranty, which is reassuing.

The Premier Devil GT 92 BM is the Black and White option

The Premier Devil is available is sizes XS-M (small outer shell) and l-XXL (larger outer shell). And you’ll pay £259.95 for plain options or £289.95 for the graphics. Touring helmets aren’t always the most stylish options, but in our humble, and usually unfashionable, opinion, the Black/Neon combination is the best looking of the bunch.

There’s a handy dealer map to find your nearest Premier Helmets stockist in the UK. And you can also find them in a variety of retailers including Halfords.
