With dealerships re-opening and lockdown restrictions being lifted for many, there’s a chance many of us will be out on bikes for the first time all year. And with the chance of some warm weather, you might want to check out the new Ducati vented jackets for Summer 2020.
The Italian manufacturer has released a full range of summer outerwear including technical jackets and sweatshirts. There are choices for male and female motorcyclists, with prices of the new range starting from £149.50.
Ducati dealers have opened from June 1st, 2020, and have a new Ducati Cares program to enforce safety measures for both staff and customers, including specific procedures to allow you to try on clothing and helmets.
The Ducati Downtown C1 Technical Sweatshirt
Sweatshirt, trackie top or jacket, the Downtown has a polyester mesh fabric on the outside. And the inside has internal aramid fibre reinforcement against abrasion, and CE protectors at the shoulders and elbows. Plus there’s a pocket to fit a Nucleon back protector if you buy one.
The hood is removable, and you get two outer pockets. The Downtown is manfuacturered by Alpinestars, and it’s available in S-XXXL for £149.50.
The Ducati Speed 3 Fabric Jacket
Also made in partnership with Alpinestars, the Speed 3 is designed by Aldo Drudi, and blends mesh and fabric to keep you cool as well as ensuring you have protection if there’s an accient.
You get removable CE protection at the shoulders and elbows, and pcokets for both the Nucleon back and chest protectors. Plus two hooks to connet to trousers, so your jacket doesn’t ride up at the back.
The Ducati Corse Tex Summer C2 Fabric Jacket
Another mesh and fabric combination, the Tex Summer C2 features a removable windproof lining, lots of ventilation, and aluminium inserts omn the shoulders.
You also get composte proectors on the elbows, and space for the Wave or Manis G2 back protector. It’s listed by Ducati at £259.
The Ducati Flow C3 Fabric Jacket
At £229 for the male and female versions, the Flow C3 jacket is designed by Drudi Performance and comes with Warrior lite protectors on the shoulders and elbows.
As with the other jackets, there’s space for a back protector. And a back hook can attach to trousers. It also has a detachable, three-layer, beathable, waterproof and windproof membrane lining.
