Good news for armchair motorcyclists wanting to live out their racing dreams, as the new TT Isle of Man 2 game promises better handling than the previous title.
The first big bike racing title to featuring the Isle of Man TT in a while, the first TT Isle of Man game was impressive in terms of the sense of speed and immersion in road racing. But there were some issues with how well and realistically the bikes handled. Which is an issue if you’re actually a motorcyclist.

There’s a quick video showing highlights from the new game, which is due out for the PC and consoles in 2020. So that should mean you can race on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and even the Nintendo Switch.
And the key focus has been completely rebuilding the motorcycle physics, including the way the brakes and shocks respond to bumps, the amount of grip depending on your lean angle, and completely integrating a proper gyroscopic effect.
Which should mean ‘ultra-realistic’ behaviour with precise and accurate steering, which will be good. Especially as the first game looked great and nailed everything in terms of graphics.

It might not be quite the same as riding the Isle of Man TT circuit, but it should help you learn the 37.73 miles of turns.
There should be plenty of bikes and riders included, as the officially licensed title for the Mountain Course. And the first game included the chance to pay for an extra Sidecars option, which could see you team up with a mate online or on the same sofa as driver and passenger.
In the meantime, you can pick up the original TT Isle of Man game for the PC via Steam. Or the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions via the likes of Game and Amazon.
