Want to improve your clutch, brake and throttle responsiveness? Or just colour-co-ordinate your cables? The 2019 Kawasaki ZX-6R Cable and Hose Kits from Venhill are one solution.
All the cables are made in the UK, and directly replace the original equipment without needing you to modify your bike. So it should be a quick and easy change to make.
The Front and Rear Brake Hose Kits come with a PTFE teflon core to resist heat, softening, expansion or losing shape. Which means the consistent internal diameter and smooth bore offer more efficient flow of brake fluid, and increased force for your braking. Which is handy if your current ZX-6R braking feels a bit soft.
All Venhill braided hoses are pressure tested to 1500psi and exceed DOT and TUV requirements.
You can choose either a five hose version using the factory set-up which will cost £123.55, or a three hose design which replaces the OEM hoses and metal pipe with a kit which goes from master cylinder to modulator section, modulator to calliper, and a calliper crossover, and costs less at £78.49.
At the rear, you also get the option of two hoses from £53.78, or the three hose design from £78.49.
So that should help sort your braking. But you can also improve the feel, control and reliability of your clutch and throttle. Again, there’s the PTFE liner which removes the need for lubrication, and both use Venhill Featherlight marine-grade stainless steel inner wire for minimum stretch.
A pair for Venhill Throttle Cables for the ZX-6R cost £31.81, the Cluch Cable costs £22.98, and there’s also a Seat Lock Cable, if you need one, and a pair of those costs you £17.40.
