The modular LS Valiant flip-front helmet has been around for a while. Since we first covered it in 2017, in fact. But while the helmet itself hasn’t changed for 2019, three new liveries including a notable design which glows in low light.
You can claim it’s a safety feature or just that it looks cool, but the LS2 Valiant Nucleus design has bright green detailing which will let you glow when it gets dark.
Whether or not the design seems practical, the LS2 helmet seems to deliver. It’s legal to ride as an open-face or full-face helmet, with a Kinetic Polymer Allow shell, a Pinlock-ready visor (and a Pinlock Max Vision comes with the Valian), and there’s an internal sun visor.
If you like the sound of the LS2 Valiant, but don’t want a green glowing helmet, then there’s some good news. Two other new designs are now available, with the Prox high-visibility yellow and black, and the Jeans titanium finish.
We might not quite understand how the design was named. But it looks quite nice in the brushed metal finish.
And that’s about it, other than to mention the LS2 Valiant Nucleus is available in sizes XS-XXL (53-64cm), and will cost you £259.99. And the JEANS Titanium finish is slightly cheaper at £249.99.
