Fancy some reasonable road racing entertainment? There’s a new 60 minute documentary available. And you can watch The Space Between IoM TT film free on Youtube.
It’s one episode of a series named Religion of Sports, and is the first show of season three.

Other episodes have covered football, tennis, boxing, basketball and more. It’s executive produced by director Gotham Chopra, and former NFL stars Tom Brady and Michael Strahan.
And The Space Between is well worth watching. Despite some issues with the film makers apparently not quite getting all the details right. For example, some footage from the Northwest 200 and Ulster GP creeps in, along with some supersports bikes appearing as part of the Superbike class.
But it’s worth overlooking those niggles for some great interview and on-board footage.
And there’s hardly any narration. It’s just bikes and the experience of the Isle of Man TT in the words of the racers and those around them. The main focus is on Domicinic Herbertson and James Hillier, with some great camera work showing what it’s like to hustle a bike around the course.
It’s not going to displace the 2011 classic TT3D: Closer to the Edge, which is not just a great film about the most famous road race in the world. It’s also a good way to introduce non-motorcycle fans to the excitement of the sport.
But The Space Between is still worth watching, especially when you just need to click play on the embedded video above.
