The LS2 Subverter helmet is designed for motocross and off-road riding. And with a range of existing and new designs in suitably lairy graphics, it’ll get you noticed. Plus it’s ECE 2205 approved if you want to take your dirtbike style on the road.
The long oval shell shape is designed to fit your head comfortably. LS2 produce three different sizes to give the smallest, lightest option depending on what actual helmet size you go for. And the overall weight is 1300 grams, so it should be comfortable for all day spent on dirt or Tarmac.
Off-road riding can be hot work. So the LS2 Subverter helmet has multiple top vents, plus another at the chin. And there are channels around the head to the rear exhaust ports to allow the air to flow through and keep you cooler. The lining is breathable, hypoallergenic, removable and washable. So you don’t end up wearing a helmet full of old dirt and sweat.
The cheek pads can be removed in seconds using the Emergency Release System. Which means the helmet can be removed without moving a rider’s head and neck more than absolutely necessary. But to keep the Subverter secure during riding there’s a reinforced chin strap with a double D-Ring.
The wide aperture allows for most styles of MX and off-road goggles. And it also provides good all-round and peripheral vision. The long peak is including with the LS2 Subverter helmet and can be adjusted to suit your individual preference.
The new LS2 Subverter Helmet designs are the Claw in Matt Black Red (pictured above) and Yellow. Or the Power in Chrome Blue (also pictured above). They join the range of White, Matt Black and High-Visibility Yellow solid colours which cost £149. And the seven existing graphic options, which will set you back £179. Sizes are XXS-3XL.
