It seems like everyone has multiple devices and action cameras clamped to themselves and their motorcycle these days. You might be filming in case you need evidence for an insurance claim. Or possibly you’ve pictured a new career as the next big motorcycle vlogger. Either way, the Wunderlich Vario Clamp could be useful for attaching your camera, smartphone or sat nav in a secure way.
The Wunderlich Vario Clamp comes supplied with ‘half shell’ spacers. That means it can be adapted to fit around any tube from 20 to 28.5mm in diameter. Giving you a wider range of places to mount it on your motorcycle. So you can play around with interesting camera angles. And your camera, phone or other device can be attached securely with the optional MultiPod socket, a single socket, or with an M6 or M8 screw fitting. So your chance at internet fame won’t be destroyed as it hits the ground at 70mph and then gets run over by an articulated lorry.
It shouldn’t add much weight either, as the Vario Clamp is made from drop-forged aluminium. Which also means it should be strong enough to cope with a weighty device. You can pick from Black or Silver anodised finishes to match your motorcycle. And the Wunderlich Vario Clamp costs you just £21. Which means you can use shots from your frame-mounted camera. Rather than accidentally incriminating yourself when your helmet cam sweeps over your speedometer, for example. Or dropping your phone when you try to take a selfie at speed in an open face helmet.
