The Ducati Scrambler 1100 is now arriving in UK dealers. And the Italian manufacturer is offering a range of savings on clothing, accessories and trading up from the smaller Scrambler 803cc. So whether you’re thinking about a new Ducati Scrambler 1100, the Scrambler 1100 Sport, or the Scrambler 1100 Special, you might want to commit between April 23rd and June 23rd, 2018. And you don’t need to buy a bike to necessarily enjoy some savings on clothing.
The 2018 Ducati Scrambler 1100 range starts with the standard model at £10,695 with the choice of ’62 Yellow or Shining Black paint. Then comes the Special at £11,495 with just a Custom Grey paint available, and the Sport with Viper Black.
The main differences besides the paint are the wheels, suspension and some of the other equipment. All three make the same power and torque. And have the same electronics with ABS, Traction Control and a Bosch inertial management unit (IMU).
2018 Ducati Scrambler 1100 UK Launch Offers:
The first of the offers is an incentive for those buying a new Ducati Scrambler 1100. Until June 23rd, 2018, Ducati is offering a 34% discount on a set of Termignoni Ducati Scrambler silencers. Which means you’ll get an increase in power and torque at low revs due to larger manifolds and dedicated engine mapping. If you’re buying a new bike, you might as well treat yourself from the start.
The savings also apply to some of the Ducati Scrambler clothing range. That includes the Desert Sled Cordura cotton fabric jacket with a removable hood, CE-certified soft protection at shoulders and elbows, a removable quilted thermal vest and space for a back protector.
And it includes the Ducati Sebring jacket for both men and ladies. The Sebring is available in dark brown, and is constructed from full grain cowhide. Also includes is the black coffee colours Cafe Racer leather jacket.
To protect your head in style, there are a couple of options for discounted helmets. You get the choice of the Check Ace and Black Track helmets produced in collaboration with Bell and based on their Bullitt model. The Black Track adapts the Bullitt shell to follow the line of the first Bell full-face helmet, the Star, but with a more comfortable fit and modern finish. Meanwhile the Check Ace has a Scrambler yellow surround with a black and metallic grey checkerboard graphic by Roland Sands Design.
Got any cash left? Good, because you still need to look after your hands. And again, Ducati has taken 34% off from two of their gloves. You can choose from the Street Master C2 sheepskin gloves in either Black/Black or Black/Yellow. With double layers of microfibre and shock absorbing inserts, they’re CE certified. Meanwhile, the Overland 2 gloves are mesh and microfibre with reinforced areas on the back and palm. Plus there are plastic knuckle protectors, and the colours are Black/Grey or Black/Yellow/Suede.
If you’re wondering how to afford everything, then there’s good news if you’re trading up from a Ducati Scrambler 803cc. Go through the Ducati Uk dealer network and you’ll get £500 inc VAT towards a deposit on the bike, clothing or accessories. So you’ll be able to pick up more clothing from that saving during the launch offer, which is handy.
