Fancy checking out the latest Triumph motorcycles and clothing ranges? It’s a good time to see what’s new, as the 2018 Triumph TFEST open dealer weekend arrives in April. On the weekend of Saturday, April 21st and Sunday April 22nd, all 50 Triumph dealerships across the UK will be hosting events.
New Triumph motorcycles you may not have seen in the flesh yet include the latest 2018 Triumph Tiger 800 and 1200, unveiled at the end of 2017. The new Triumph Tiger 1200 XC and XR are up to 11kg lighter, with more power from the shaft-drive 1200cc triple engine. To help with the 141PS of power, there are 6 riding modes including a new ‘Off-Road Pro’ setting in addition to ‘Off-Road’, ‘Sport’, ‘Rain’, ‘Road’ and ‘Rider-programmable’. There are also new LED lights, better ergonomics, hill hold to help you set off when you’re on a steep hill, and new bodywork. The new Triumph Tiger 800 range starts off at £9,100, with the Tiger 1200 kicking off from £12,200.
Also at dealers will be the 2018 Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black. The Black update on the Bobber gets a more aggressive look, a fatter front wheel and chunkier forks among other things. You can check out more details on the Bonneville Bobber Black by reading our previous article detailing the specs and features.
For pure road riding at a fast pace, there’s the 2018 Triumph Speed Triple S, which gets more power, less weight, and plenty of other improvements. That includes new high-level exhausts on the S. Find out more about it in our detailed look at the new Triumph Speed Triple S.
And if you want even sharper performance from your Speed Triple, there’s the RS model with more goodies from the likes of Ohlins and Brembo. And it’s even lighter than the slightly cheaper option. Again, you can see more pictures and details in our previous round-up on the 2018 Triumph Speed Triple S and RS.
Finishing up the list of new bikes to see when the 2018 Triumph TFEST Open Dealer Weekend arrives in April is the 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster.
There’s the new 1200cc engine featuring the same tune as the Bobber, which means more torque. Plus a deeper exhaust note, a larger petrol tank than the Bobber, and the feet-forward cruiser riding position. Check out all the details on the more relaxed Triumph in our detailed article on the 2018 Speedmaster.
Obviously the rest of the existing Triumph range will also be available to view.
“There’s been a huge amount of excitement around our new models and in particular the new Speed Triple S & RS. They have more power, sharper handling and more technology than ever before, so we’re really excited for our fans to see them both and book themselves in for a test ride. With so many great new Triumphs on offer, we would recommend that visitors reserve their places for the event; TFEST is always extremely popular and we don’t want anyone to miss out.” said Paul Lilly, Triumph UK General Manager.
