The Honda NC750X is a friendly and good way to try and adventure bike. And the 2016 update improved it with more storage and better suspension. So as a capable all-round adventure machine, it’s quite likely to see bad weather and plenty of grime. So it’s good that you can now get the new Honda NC750X hugger and screen from Skidmarx to cut down your cleaning time and keep your bike in better condition for longer.
The Skidmarx screen is higher to redirect airflow for taller riders, or those who want more cover against the wind and rain. It’s 50cm long, which give you an extra 7.5cm (3 inches). In 3mm cast acrylic, you can fit it with the original screws and mounting points, so it’s a pretty quick and easy job. And you don’t need to make any permanent modifications. You can choose from clear, light grey tint or a dark grey/black tint, and it’ll cost you £64.95.
You can also tidy up your rear end at the same time with the Skidmarx hugger for the Honda NC750X. It’s made in the UK from GRP glass fibre with a gloss black finish, and includes an integral chain guard. And it means your rear shock and the underneath of your bike won’t get all the dirt, grime and stones flicked up from the road or track attacking it.
That means less time wiping your undercarriage down. Which isn’t always on your list of priorities after commuting all week in the cold, dark Winter weather.
The Honda NC750X hugger from Skidmarx comes with a tailored fitting kit and instructions, and doesn’t need any specialist tools to fit it. It’ll cost you £89.95.
Also available from Skidmarx is a matching headlight cover to protext from stone chips. It costs £19.95 and is available as a clear 3mm acrylic cover. Other colours and tins can be produced to order, but they won’t be legal for road use.
