New Ventura Evo-Rack Bike Luggage System

New Ventura Evo-Rack Bike Luggage System

May 23, 2017 By DanThornton Leave a Comment

Ventura has been making motorcycle lugagge for a long time now. And the company has updated and rebuilt the bike pack options with the new Ventura Evo-Rack. It’s an evolution of how previous products aimed to let you fit and remove soft luggage to your bike quickly and easily. And also keep it secure and stable.

The Ventura Evo-Rack fitted with an EVO-40 Bike Pack

So the new Ventura Evo-Rack has a flat base and an adjustable mounting system. That means it can pivot to fit various positions to suit one or more bikes.

To fit the rack to your bike, it’ll need to have a set of Ventura L-Brackets fitted. They mount to existing points on the sub-frame. Without the rack, the brackets are fairly discrete, and don’t add much weight or any width to your bike. And you can always stick a pillion Grab Handle on in place of your luggage when you’re riding without it.

The Ventura Evo-Rack

So first you fit the brackets, which are available for more than 2000 bike models. That even includes motorcycles from the 1970s.

Then you add the rack and can then slide on your lugggage with an innovative new pocket fastening system in the base of new Ventura packs.

There are 2 new bags available with the new system. The EVO-10 is aimed at commuting and short trips with a 10 litre capacity, while the EVO-40 is more substantial and carries 40 litres. The bags are made with water-resistant and durable laminated ballistic fabric.

Useful it you regular carry too much to stuff into your pockets. And don’t want to ride around with a backpack. The advantage over a traditional top-box is that you don’t have to leave it attached to your bike all the time, or carry hard luggage around with you. Plus if you are lucky enough to own more than one bike, it’s easy to fit L brackets to all of them and swap the rack and luggage between them.

Ventura EVO-Rack Fitting

The Ventura EVO-Rack costs £79.99. You’ll need a set of L-Brackets which start from £82.99 depending on the individual motorcycle model. And the luggage will cost £73.99 for the EVO-10 Pack, and £149.99 for the EVO-40 Pack. And once you’ve made that initial investment, you won’t be replacing it all at once in the future.
