New Skidmarx Touring and Standard Screens for the Kawasaki Z1000SX

If you’ve damaged the original screen on your Kawasaki Z1000SX or want to get out of the wind, then there’s good news. The new Skidmarx Touring and Standard screens for the Kawasaki Z1000SX should sort you out.

Made in the UK from 3mm cast acrylic, the screens come pre-drilled and ready to fit. It uses the original mountings, which means you should have it attached in minutes. Plus it also means you can still use the original manual adjustment system toplay around with the screen position.

The Standard screens are available in your choice of clear or tinted finish and cost £49.95.

If you’re a taller rider, or want more protection from wind and rain, then there’s also the touring screen. It’s 127mm (5 inches) taller and 762mm (3 inches) wider than the original Kawasaki screen. And as I’ve often claimed, 5 inches is enough to make a big difference.

The Skidmarx Touring screen is available with clear, light and dark tint options. And apparently it’s available at an ‘introductory’ price of £49.95. So it’s probably a good idea to pick one up before any price rise if you’re tempted. And considering the Kawasaki Z1000SX is a fairly popular big sports touring bike, long distance comfort is probably worth investing in.
