We try our best to do something interesting at ResCogs. Whether it’s words, photos, audio or video, the essential plan is to make the kind of things that would help us to get more out of motorcycling, would entertain us, or gives us something to share with friends and family to explain how cool two wheels are.
It wasn’t started to make us rich or famous (although both would be nice). But occasionally nice things do happen; like when KTM let us drive halfway up the UK to test an electric off road bike (although they’ve been rather quiet since for some reason). Or when dealers are kind enough to risk some of their stock so we can ride it. Or when someone enters us into the 2017 UK Blog Awards.
So here’s the thing. Public voting is now open to pick the finalists. And we’re surrounded by car blogs. That’s right – we’re the only motorcycle website involved – up against 15 car sites (including our sister site ResCars) in the Individual Category. So while we wouldn’t normally go around begging for anything except motorcycles and biscuits, we’d appreciate your vote for two reasons.
The first is that it’d be nice to start taking ResCogs to a wider audience and enable us to possibly bring in some money to fund a bigger and better website. Or at least some new ResCogs stickers, because I didn’t even get one of the last lot.
And the second is that it’ll be one up against all those car websites. As much as we love Rescars like an irritating sibling, everyone knows two wheels is more fun than four.
And it only takes 30 seconds to enter your name, an email address, and select the category (Automotive). And in return, we’ll work even harder to share more really good stuff, and try to do it all the more often.
