The Ducati Scrambler Taste of Joy Mobile App shows the Italian motorcycle company has gone full hipster. At least as far as the naked and customisable roadster is concerned. While hardcore sports bike fans have had the recent Panigale Anniversario to drool over, Scrambler owners get a mobile app listing street food cuisine across Italy.
The Ducati Scrambler has already been the basis for a number of cool custom bikes. So instead, Ducati has created a mobile app for Apple iOS devices (with Android coming soon).
The Taste of Joy app has more than 150 locations across Italy from kiosks to restaurants, plus suggested routes and itineraries to help you explore the country as well as the food. Possibly more useful is the fact that it also includes the location of every Italian petrol pump. So both you and your bike should be fully fueled at all times.
Apparently the app is ‘diligently updated’ every six months, so there shouldn’t be any out of date locations. And you don’t actually have to own a Ducati Scrambler to find it on the App Store (Although a beard, skinny jeans and creative day job in London will help).
If nothing else, it’s a free app which is handy to have if you’re visiting Italy and running low on petrol…
