They’ve been created by the Knox London Design Studio and aim to look like high-end fashionable jeans, be flattering and also be comfortable on and off your bike.
Motorcycle jeans have come a long way since they first appeared 10-15 years ago. You now get 12oz Cordura denim fabric which is four times stronger than your regular jeans, plus a Dupont Kevlar lining, without bulky exterior seams. You get Knox Lite Plus knee and hip protectors, and there’s a discrete zip to put the knee armour in or out without having to drop your trousers – which is a great feature if you fancy doing anything besides riding.
When you’re on your bike, the knee protection should be kept in place by a ‘smart system’.
