New Peugeot Satelis 400i Scooter

New Peugeot Satelis 400i Scooter

October 19, 2015 By DanThornton Leave a Comment

The new Peugeot Satelis 400i maxi scooter has a four-valve fuel-injected engine putting out 37hp and 38Nm of torque. Which means as much as I hate the term ‘maxi scooter’, it’s a practical bike with the twist & go CVT transmission, low maintenance and low friction engine, dual belt transmission and 6,200 mile service intervals.

New Peugeot Satelis 400i

It has a large flat floor-pan to give decent legroom, and special foot rests to allow feet-forward cruising. Plus there are pillion foot pegs to go with the large dual seat.

You also get 14 inch alloy wheels with Michelin City Grip tyres, a double steel cradle frame, telescopic front forks and a rear suspension adjustable for pre-load. Brakes are twin 260mm front discs with Nissin hydraulic calipers and a 240mm rear disc.

Under the seat is a storage compartment big enough for two full-face helmets, which can open via a button on the dash or with an optional remote control. The dash also includes digital displays with average fuel consumption, remaining and more. Other features include LED daytime running lights, on-board 12V socket and storage compartments in the leg shields.

The Peugeot Satelis 400i is available in pearly Black, Pearly White or Havana Grey and costs £4599 with a two year unlimited manufacturer warranty.

If that isn’t enough, there’s also the Peugeot Satelis 400i RS edition, which gets a tinted low profile screen, black wheels, polished stainless steel exhaust and sports trim seat in White Snow and Titanium colour choices. It comes with the same warranty and costs £200 extra, making it £4799.
