The safety cut-out switch is a useful bit of equipment sometimes, but it’s also a pain if you have a low speed spill, or it gets damaged by stones and other junk when you’re riding on dirt. And if you have a BMW R1200GS, R1200GS Adventure LC, R1200R LC or R1200RS LC, then it’s on the pivot point of the side stand, and could do with some extra protection.
