We love all motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds at Rescogs. Whatever it is, if it’s got two wheels and an engine, we’ll feature it. Or even an electric motor. We don’t just love cafe racers, or sports bikes, or classics. We love all three, and MX bikes, adventure bikes, and even cruisers. But occasionally it comes to our attention that there has been an imbalance – too many cool new custom flat trackers, or a glut of new mopeds and scooters.
So having realised we haven’t featured any Harleys in a while, we figured we could solve that quickly. Turns out that Harley-Davidson ran a competition earlier in the year for dealers from Belfast to Wolverhampton to modify a Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight. So 29 bikes were created to rules which said they had to eventually take the format of a Harley Dark Custom, by being stripped back and created as a cafe racer, tracker, long-fork custom etc.
There was apparently a public vote to crown the ‘Kings of Custom’ but to be honest, we just enjoy seeing all 29 bikes. Hopefully you will too, because with this many images, this page probably took a while to load.
