This BMW FireExpress Fire Department motorcycle is one of a range of emergency vehicles BMW has on display at the moment for prospective purchase by services around the world. It includes a range of cars which you can see on our sister site Rescars, the BMW F800GS, and the BMW R1200RT ready for the fire brigade.
To be honest, we don’t know much about the actual extras. But the BMW R1200RT is meant to be a quick response vehicle to get to situations in a hurry, rather than replacing a firetruck. So those tanks are probably enough if it turns out to be a small campfire rather than a full-on blaze. Although we have to wonder whether they’d be better off being re-purposed for some nitrous oxide to get Fireman Sam to his destination even more quickly? (Or fireperson Samantha for that matter)
