The AMA Flat Track Clash of the Titans 2 saw 58-year-old legend Jay Springsteen, with 3 AMA Grand National Championships (1976,1977,1978) take on 48-year-old Chris Carr (6 AMA Grand National Dirt Track Championships 1992,1999,2001-2005 and seven 600cc Dirt Track championships 1988-1993, and 1995).
The first time the pair re-united, it was Springsteen who won. But which one was able to be victorious on their Harley-Davidson XR750 flat tracker this year?
Guest commentator for the race was former WSB champ and MotoGP race winner Troy Bayliss, who was competing in a number of flat track races on a special Ducati Scrambler. The 46-year-old was close to the pace in practice and qualifying, but disaster occurred in his semi-final.

Unfortunately the crash resulted in a fracture in his right fibula, near his ankle.

Still, while Bayliss recovers, the AMA kindly put the main 2015 Springfield Mile Final on Youtube for everyone to watch. 25 laps, 18 riders on dirt, with a variety of bikes (Ducati Scrambler, Kawasaki EX650s, KTM 950 Super Dukes and Triumph Bonnevilles) taking on the Harley-Davidsons.
