BMW and Alpinestars will be working together on a range of BMW clothing to include joint branding and Alpinestars Air-Tech airbag technology. The first product they are working on will be a jacket with male and female versions and an airbag waistcoat which won’t need sensors or any kind of link to your bike, to allow you to switch vehicles without any hassle.

At the moment we haven’t seen any news of a release date, but as it’s going to be a BMW jacket, your local BMW Motorrad dealer might have more info on availability. We do get all the latest press releases etc from BMW, so as soon as we get more details it’ll be on Rescogs, and we’ll hopefully remember to update this article as well!
