Ducati Panigales arrive in UK and Irish dealerships

Ducati Panigales arrive in UK and Irish dealerships

March 17, 2015 By DanThornton Leave a Comment

If you’ve been waiting for a Ducati 1299 Panigale – either because you’ve pre-ordered one, want to test ride one, or simply be able to press your grubby fingers all over one, then there’s good news. The Ducati 1299 Panigale and 1299 Panigale S models are arriving in 31 dealers around the UK and Ireland this week.

Not part of the delivery process for the Ducati 1299 Panigale S, we hope…

If you’re one of the eager bunch waiting for the new Ducatis, you probably already know all about the 205hp 1285cc Superquadro engine, the 166.5kg dry weight and the masses of electronics which aim to help you handle the bike. There’s the Inertial Measurement Unit with Riding Modes for Race, Sport and Wet. There’s the Cornering ABS. The Ducati Traction Control. The Ducati Wheelie Control. The Ducati Quick Shifter Up. And even TFT instrumentation with a lean angle indicator, which is likely to make for depressing reading if you’re not a professional racer on slick tyres and a race track.

And that’s just the electrickery on the standard Panigale. The S model also gets semi-active Ohlins Smart EC suspension and steering damper. Plus it sheds even more weight with lightweight forged aluminium wheels and a carbon fibre front mudguard. You also get a full LED headlight.

Both models are available with the Ducati TriOptions finance packages, which mean potentially you could own a Ducati 1299 Panigale from £179 per month or the S version from £235 per month.
