Duchinni have made a range of helmets for a while, and they’ve now added a line of boots to their collection. All the footwear is priced at less than £100, and there’s a range of styles which all feature leather uppers and waterproof/breathable linings.
The Duchinni Mirage Boots look like a pair of old baseball boots, cost £74.99 and come in men’s sizes 6 1/2 to 11 1/2 Euro (40-46). They’re made from full-grain, vintage-look leather with a waterproof and breathable fixed lining and oil-resistant rubber sole. The heel and toe cups are reinforced, and you’ve probably spotted they’re fastened with laces to give that full retro trainer look.
The Duchinni Classic Motorcycle Boots aim to look like your traditional engineer boots for cruiser riders. They’re unisex in sizes 3 1/2 to 12 (Euro 36-47), and cost £79.99. Again, there’s full-grain leather, the waterproof and breathable lining, and a deep-tread rubber sole.
The Duchinni Corsa Motorcycle Boots are ankle-length and mix leather and textiles to be more flexible. You get the same lining and rubber soles, but with reflective piping and a Velco strap to back up the laces. They cost £74.99 and come in sizes 6 1/2 to 11 1/2 (Euro 40-46).
Of the three, the Mirage boots look the coolest for commuting or short distances when you want to be able to walk and stand around without a full pair of race bike boots on.
