Either Suzuki, Kawasaki and Yamaha have decided to collaborate on a new, somewhat GS500-inspired bike, or the owner of this machine spotted in exotic Ecuador is a little confused as to what he owns.

We should send him a FireBlade sticker so he can have a full house…
The picture is courtesy of Rescogs very own man in Ecuador, Tom Rayner, who took his love of journalism and death metal from the UK to South America.
And while you might think it’s just a case of using up any free stickers, Tom tells us that he’s seen more than one FireBlade bus roll on by, and went to a rental shop offering ‘Japanese motorcycles’ only to be offered something called a ‘Shine Ray’, which isn’t one of the big four brands we’re aware of? And in fact, sounds suspiciously like the Chinese Shine Ray manufacturer of ‘inspired’ bikes up to 400cc.
Hopefully we’ll get some more South American updates from Tom in the future if he can’t get them in more prestigious places. As we still don’t have a freelance budget, or indeed any budget, why not thank him by checking out his blog on Ecuador – besides some brilliant photography, it’s worth checking out for the picture of him riding a llama.
