The Pro-Am 350LC Yamaha Series is probably the greatest one-make race series of all time, and certainly became the most legendary due to the amount of talented riders willing to do almost anything to either win or screw up their rivals.
This picture from photographer Graham Etheridge’s collection, is from the 1982 Powerbike International meeting at Brands Hatch at the end of the season, which featured racing with British riders versus their European rivals. The first three were #6 Steve Chambers, #3 Alan Carter and #8 Ivan Gray.

Great racing….have you got any photos of the vf500f2 cup….this was a one make race series but the only difference was that they all had motad neta high level exhausts.Motad used to be on an industrial estate in stratford and i used to go there and see the bikes being set up for the race,in 1987 i bought a brand new vf500 and spent 2 years trying to get a neta high level can….they just werent available to the public.
