The Triumph Tiger Explorer is a pretty big and powerful bike, meaning that it has a wet weight of 259kg. So bike luggage experts Ventura have developed a new version of their luggage rack which minimises the total weight with the complete system coming in at 4.5kg.
It bolts directly to the standard luggage rack, removing the need for pannier frames. A Ventura soft luggage pack can then be slotted straight onto the rack to keep the tail pack stable and secure without adding extra width to the bike. And with the ‘slide on/ride off’ system it means you’re not forced to use straps and bungees to secure the packs – saving the risk of straps breaking, bungees scratching your bike, or any potential safety hazards. Plus you can also still carry a pillion in comfort and remove everything quickly and easily at the end of a long day riding.

Both the Pack and Rack can be removed in seconds to just leave the discrete L-Brackets behind, and if you’re not fully loaded you can replaced it with a pillion Grab Handle or Sport Rack for smaller loads. The packs themselves come in a range of sizes from a 35-litre weekend bag to a massive 102-litre tour Pack combination, and you can also add soft or hard panniers for even more carrying capacity.
A complete system for the Triumph Tiger Explorer, including the L-Brackets, Pack Rack and the 47-litre Mistral Pack (as pictured) costs £329.57 including VAT. For more details, call 01256-704909 or visit www.ventura-bike.co.uk
