German firm SW Motech has added to the practicality of the Suzuki DL650 V-Strom with a range of touring and adventure parts including a full allow luggage system, engine guard and crash bars, handlebar risers and a comfort footrest kit.
The Trax Evo luggage system is made from corrosion-resistant 1.5mm thick AIMg3 grade allow with fibre-reinforced hinges. They have waterproof seals and tie-down points for extra capacity, on top of the 37 and 45-litre side cases and 38-litre top case. The 37-litre version weights 3.9kg, with the 45-litre case weighing 4.5kg. Prices start at £84.91 for the Alu-Rack with a 37-litre side case at £223.09. Quick-lock side carriers which can be removed in seconds are £207.65 for a pair.
To improve the ergonimics of the bike you can fit the two sizes of bar riser which can lift the bars from 20-25mm and cost £37.73. There are also Comfort Footrests for £113.24 which can also be set in two positions and feature a rubber insert to reduce vibration and a profiled surface for better grip. And there’s a Centre Stand Kit for £151.01 to make cleaning, maintenance and parking that bit easier.
Finally you can protect your investment with the Engine Guard for £188.72, and team it with lightweight and durable Crash Bars for £141.55. They’re powder coated to help resist corosion.
