Skidmarx has launched three new screen, headlight covers and a rear hugger for the Kawasaki Z1000SX. The screens are all made in 3mm acrylic and are designed to replace the original factory item with the existing mounting points, to retain existing adjustment options.
The double bubble screen improves aerodynamics and increases the air pocket behind the screen, whilst the lankier among us will benefit from the 10cm/4″ taller tall screen, which will send the airflow over your head (unless you’re tall enough to enter the Guinness Book of Records, in which case, you’re out of luck). And then there’s the standard replacement option if you end up with a scratched or damaged screen.

The Skidmarx double bubble screen for the Kawasaki Z1000SX costs £54.95 in clear, light or dark tints, and coloured options are available for an extra £6. The tall screen is £42.95 with similar options. And if you fancy matching headlight covers, they come in at £19.99.

Given that winter is officially here, the GRP rear hugger in gelcoat black is a particular practical investment, and comes with tailored fittings and instructions – it costs £74.95. And there’s an ultra lightweight carbon fibre version at £134.95 if you fancy being particularly sporty on a touring bike. It costs £134.95, and the weight-saving probably means you can choose a bacon roll over fruit for breakfast, so we reckon it’s worth it.

Hi I’ve just got the new 2019 z1000sx and am looking for a taller screen to fit the bike. I see that you have one they comes in 4 inches higher, which which suit. I have 2 questions, first does this screen featured fit the 2019 model and secondly, is the screen any wider, thanks.
