If you’re tempted to change the look of your Yamaha FZ8, then you might want to give Skidmarx a call, as they now have a new double bubble screen, headlight covers, centre panels, bellypan and a rear hugger available.
The Skidmarx double bubble screen for the FZ8 is based on the screens supplied to Airwaves Yamaha when they won the 2009 BSB Championship with Leon Camier, to enhance the aerodynamic and increase the air pocket behind the screen. It’ll use the existing mounting points and fasteners to replace the original item with the Skidmarx 3mm acrylic replacement. It costs £54.95 in clear, light or dark tints. Coloured options can be ordered for a £6 surcharge, and if you just want a standard replacement, it’ll cost you £42.95 for clear, light or dark at £42.95, with coloured replacements £48.95, and matching headlight covers for £19.99.
For practical protection from dirt and grime, you can also go for a GRP fibreglass bellypan (£84.95), centre panels (£69.95) and a rear hugger for £74.95. Or save some weight by going for the carbon fibre version for £134.95. Content 01305-780808 or visit Skidmarx.
