2018 KTM Adventure Rally Dates and Details Announced

Fancy enjoying a three-day guided adventure through Sardinia on your KTM? You’ll need to be quick to snap up one of just 150 places available now that the 2018 KTM Adventure Rally dates and details have been announced. And you’ll also need to be an owner of a KTM Adventure 640,690,950,990,1050,1090,1190 or 1290.

It should be a memorable trip. The rally itself is fully organised by the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer. And it’s designed to suit riders of all abilities. So whether you’ve just bought a KTM Adventure and want to start riding off-road, or you’re experienced in navigating rough terrain and like a challenge, it should be perfect for you.

The KTM Adventure Rally costs €379 and takes place from June 20-22, 2018. And it includes 3 days of riding with guides and special guests on marked routes with GPS data supplied. If that’s not enough, you also get exclusive workshops to improve your technical skills, tire support, technical and medical service, back-up bikes, a daily dinner and a limited edition KTM goodie bag. Plus the option to test ride the latest bikes in the KTM Adventure range.

Sardinia isn’t a bad location either. As the second largest island in the Mediterranean, you can probably expect decent weather in June. It’s also the Italian region with the largest amount of forest, and with strict rules on new buildings to preserve the natural areas and environment. Including plenty of rare species of animals, amphibians and birds. And you know the food should be pretty good…

And the first confirmed special guest is pretty special. KTM Adventure rider and Red Bull athlete Chris Birch has competed in the ISDE, the Dakar Rally and the Hard Enduro, where he won the Roof of Africa three times in a row. And the New Zealander also coaches off-road riding between competing at the highest levels, so he should have plenty of tips to improve your own skills.
