We took a mooch down to the Prescott Bike Festival. Despite it only being the events third year, it’s already well established on the biking calendar. Last year though was a wash out, biblical rain meant the fun never really got started, however blessed with better weather this year the event blossomed in the April sunshine.

ResCogs’ very own Hill Climb racer. Sam Matthewman ran the hill several times on his freshly rebuilt Suzuki TL1200S. Sam was enjoying the day, when I asked if had any further runs left to do, he almost dropped his burger “I hope not”.
The lack of snow in the Cotswolds was a bonus, the bike park was full by 11am. We were tempted to just wander around here and listen to the antics on the hill nearby, but we managed to blag in to capture the event for the website.

Over lucky 200 riders got the opportunity to “Run the hill” and most of them had a few goes. There was everything from old British bikes to projects that had just been finished.
